Overview
Astra builds AI infrastructure for creative industries. Their tech was groundbreaking, but their brand felt like every other SaaS company. They needed to stand out in a sea of gradient-heavy, buzzword-filled competitors.
What We Did
We went bold. Neon blues, electric energy, visual metaphors that feel almost biological—like you're looking at neural networks firing in real-time. The brand identity draws from bioluminescence and energy transfer, positioning AI not as cold computation but as living intelligence.
The website is built around an immersive 3D hero experience that responds to cursor movement. We designed custom WebGL shaders to create that signature glow effect. Content is structured in modules that expand and contract, mimicking how AI processes information.
Impact
Astra's rebrand generated significant industry buzz—covered by TechCrunch, featured in the Webby Awards, and led to partnerships with three Fortune 500 companies. Their Series A round closed at 2x their target valuation, with investors citing brand differentiation as a key factor.
